A superb Victorian oak hall table with two concealed drawers. The style is influenced by the Gothic Revival of the mid to late Victorian era. It has a raised shaped gallery along the back and stands on turned legs. It has two concealed drawers in the front, beautifully shaped with a square raised panelled design that matches the sides.
It is in excellent condition for its age and has a lovely rich colour with a wonderful tiger grain across the top. There are some minor signs of age and use and some small old knocks and marks but nothing detrimental or untoward. It is a good sturdy table and it displays beautifully. It has been cleaned and gently polished and is ready for use.
