A lovely miniature tilt-top table dating from the mid to late 19th Century. It has a round burr walnut top and it stands on a turned pedestal with a round base and three small bun feet below. It is a charming piece and was most likely made by an apprentice and is very good quality with a nicely polished finish. There is a small metal catch below the top which allows the top to tilt.
It is in good original condition and has a wonderful patina. There are some general signs of age and use, some minor marks, knocks and a few small nibbles around the edge but nothing detrimental and overall it displays very well.
