A good quality set of hanging wall shelves dating from the mid 19th century. They are made from mahogany and have an elegant waterfall shape with graduated shelves and their original hanging brackets. The flat base means that they could also sit on top of another piece of furniture or be hung.
They are in good condition for their age and are a good quality piece with lovely rich timbers. There are signs of age and use, some minor marks and light knocks but nothing detrimental and they have a nice patina. There has been a small repair to the edge of one side (see photo) but they still display well. They have been cleaned and gently polished and are ready for use.
