A superb mahogany Wardrobe dating from the mid to late 19th Century. It has two nicely panelled cupboard doors with wonderful book-matched flame mahogany fronts. The interior has a hanging rail and a few hooks on the sides and back. Below the doors is a single deep drawer with its original turned knobs. It is an excellent quality piece with a nicely shaped overhanging cornice, a plinth base and it comes with its original working key.
It is in excellent condition and the colour and grain of the wood is superb. The interior is clean and tidy and the drawer opens smoothly. There are of course minor signs of age and use, small knocks and marks but no major damages or anything detrimental.
It splits into three parts - lower drawer section, upper cupboard section and the cornice - making it easy to move and transport.
