A lovely antique mahogany pot cupboard dating from the late 19th Century. The cupboard has a single door with turned knob and opens to reveal a shelved interior. The top is hinged and contains its original ceramic washbowl. It is a good quality piece with a lovely patina and it stands on a plinth base.
It is in good condition for its age and is strong and sturdy. There are minor signs of age and use, a few small marks and a minor chip by one hinge but nothing detrimental and overall it displays well. There is a crack and chip in the ceramic washbowl which is really just there for decoration rather than use. The cupboard has been cleaned and gently polished and is ready for use.
