A good quality mahogany glazed cabinet dating from the mid to late 19th Century - ideal for use as a bookcase or display cabinet. It has two glazed doors that open to a shelved interior and the position of the shelves is adjustable. It stands on a plinth base and has attractive carved corbels flanking the doors. The cabinet also comes with a working key.
It is in very good condition for its age and the mahogany has developed a wonderful rich patina. It is not without a couple of small knocks and marks but nothing detrimental and it displays well. The shelves are clean and sturdy and it has been gently cleaned and polished and is ready for use.
