Product Details

A pretty wingback armchair dating from the mid to late 19th Century. It has traditional raised shaped wing sides and it stands on turned mahogany front legs with its original brass castors below. It has nice large proportions and is a good comfortable chair with a feather-filled seat cushion.

The chair has been upholstered in a good quality pink and purple fabric with a traditional pattern that compliments the chair well. It is not new upholstery and there are some light signs of wear and use but it looks clean and fresh and is perfectly usable as it is or will serve as a good solid frame for recovering.

The chair is in good overall condition and is strong and sturdy. There are a few general marks around the legs and a small chip on one rear leg but nothing detrimental.

The chair stands approximately 42" (107cm) high, 29" (74cm) deep and 32" (81cm) wide. The seat is 19" (48cm) high.
