A good quality four-tier mahogany whatnot dating from the mid to late 19th century. It has elegant turned supports with turned finials and a single drawer in the base.
It is in good condition for its age and is a good quality piece with lovely rich timbers. There are signs of age and use, some marks and stains on the surfaces and some light surface scratches but no major damages and it has a nice aged patina. There is some slight warping on some of the shelves but this hasn't affected the piece structurally or aesthetically. It has been cleaned and gently polished and is ready for use.
