An attractive mid 19th Century folding butler's table with turned X-frame legs joined by turned stretchers. The mahogany tray has raised sides and four carrying handles. It is a large example and excellent quality.
It is in good original condition and the mahogany has developed a nice rich patina. There are signs of age and use, some wear and light knocks on the legs, a small chip on the side of the tray and a few surface marks but nothing untoward or detrimental and it displays very nicely. It is strong and sturdy and the webbing has been recently replaced to ensure it is stable. It has been cleaned and gently polished and is ready for use.
