A good quality mahogany Duchess style dressing table dating from the late 19th century. It is an attractive shape and has a central drawer below the top surface. It stands on turned and reeded front legs with a shaped lower shelf, set back to allow for sitting.
It is in very good condition with a beautiful rich patina. There are signs of age and use, some small marks on the top and a couple of small repaired chips but no major damages or anything detrimental. The drawer opens well and is generally clean and tidy. It has been cleaned and gently polished and is ready for use.
