A lovely miniature apprentice-made chest of drawers dating from the late 19th Century. It is very well made with small turned knobs and hand cut dovetail joints. It is made from mahogany and has three long drawers standing on a plinth base with an overhanging top.
It is in good original condition. It has a lovely patina and it is sturdy and the joints are strong. The drawers are clean and tidy and open smoothly. There are some signs of age and use and minor marks, some small chips and minor losses (all photographed) but overall it displays very well.
