A lovely miniature apprentice-made mahogany chest of drawers, dating from the late 19th Century. It is a charming piece with two short over three long drawers, each with turned wooden knobs. It is very well made and has a lovely patina.
It is in good original condition and is a sturdy construction. There are some general signs of age and use, some minor marks, knocks and a small old split in the plinth but nothing detrimental. One knob is not quite an exact match for the others so has probably been replaced at some point in its life but it doesn't stand out. It has been cleaned and lightly polished and is ready for use.
