Product Details

A superb Victorian library table in the Gothic Revival style. It is made of oak with a stunning coromandel inlaid banding on the top. Supported by carved ends joined by a turned stretcher on swept legs with small brass castors below. It has a large drawer in one side and a dummy drawer on the reverse side. It is adorned with gothic style roundels and squares and has carved brackets below the top. The design is finished on all four sides of the table, making it suitable as a centre table or side table.

It is in excellent condition for its age and has a lovely rich colour. There are the usual signs of age and use and some minor old knocks and marks, the most notable being a mark on the top surface and a small piece of coromandel inlay has been replaced (see photos) but nothing detrimental or untoward. It is a good sturdy table and it displays beautifully.
