A fine example of solid Sterling Silver sugar tongs. They are stylish and good quality and are a good size and weight, weighing approximately 54g.
They are clearly hallmarked for Exeter, 1859 and the maker Josiah Williams & Co.
They are in very good condition for their age. There are no major damages and they display beautifully. There are some faint surface marks commensurate with age but nothing detrimental. They have been gently cleaned and polished and are ready for use.
