Product Details

A good example of a Large Victorian solid Sterling silver spoon. It is a large tablespoon size or small serving spoon. It is superb quality and decorated in the traditional 'King's Pattern' with a shell on the handle. It has small engraved initials that look like 'FJ' on the tip of the handle.

It measures approximately 9" (23cm) long and the spoon itself is 2" (5cm) wide x 3" (8cm) long. It weighs approximately 105g.

It is clearly hallmarked for Exeter, 1874 and the maker John Pope Genge.
It is in excellent condition for its age. There are no major damages and it displays beautifully. There are some faint surface scratches and a few light marks but nothing detrimental. It has been gently cleaned and polished and is ready for use.
