A lovely Victorian ebonised Piano Stool with an adjustable seat. The stool stands on four turned aesthetic style legs joined to a central turned support. The seat is upholstered in leather with a studded border.
It can be adjusted in height by spinning the seat around to move it up or down. At its lowest adjustable position it is 18" (46cm) and at its highest adjustable position it is approximately 23" (59cm).
It is in good condition for its age. The revolving mechanism runs smoothly with very minimal give side to side and when extended upwards the stool is very stable. The wood is free from any major knocks or splits and is overall a sturdy construction. There are some small marks and minor knocks but nothing detrimental. It displays well and is certainly a very usable piece.
