A fine example of a Victorian cut glass Claret Jug with Sterling silver handle and mount. It is an attractive shape with flowers and leaves cut into the glass and a star cut base. The silver is beautifully engraved and the whole piece is excellent quality.
It is clearly hallmarked for William Henry Leather, Birmingham, 1898.

It is in very good condition for its age. There are no major damages and it displays beautifully. There are some faint surface marks and a few signs of age and use but nothing detrimental. It has been gently cleaned and polished is ready for use.
