Good example of an antique riveted copper boiler dating from the late 19th Century. Most likely originally used as an industrial boiler or measure, it is the perfect size for a log bin or planter. Excellent quality with a riveted seam and riveted detail around the bottom.
It is in good original condition and displays well. There has been a patch repair on the front and some old splits around the edge of the rim but no other damages, splits or holes. There are some minor dinks and dents but nothing detrimental and it has a lovely patina. It has been lightly cleaned and polished and is ready for use.
