A good example of a copper coal scuttle dating from the late 19th Century. It is a traditional helmet shape with an upright handle and round foot. It is good quality with a nice seam and rolled rim.
It is in good original condition and displays beautifully. There are no damages, splits or holes. There are some minor dinks and dents and signs of age and use but nothing detrimental. It has been lightly cleaned and polished and is ready for use.
