A good quality burr walnut cabinet dating from the late 19th Century. It has two inlaid doors with oval bevelled mirrors that open to a shelved interior. The shelf is removable and the doors come with their original working key. The top has a small raised brass gallery and a nicely strung inlaid border. The cabinet stands on short turned legs with brass castors.
It is a good useful size and is in good condition for its age. The walnut has developed a wonderful rich patina and it displays well. It is not without some small knocks and marks and a few small chips and splits but nothing untoward or detrimental. It has been cleaned and gently polished and is ready for use.
