A fine example of a solid Silver sugar caster. It is a very unusual and stylish piece. It is Britannia Standard silver and weighs approximately 152g. It is clearly hallmarked for Charles Stuart Harris, London, 1893.
It is in good condition for its age and displays beautifully. There are no major damages but there is a small dink in the rim and a few small dinks around the base. There are some faint surface marks and a few light scratches but nothing detrimental. It has been gently cleaned and polished is ready for use.
