A beautiful antique stationery cabinet dating from the mid to late 19th Century. It is made of oak with attractive brass banding on the edges.
The sloping front opens out to reveal a series of racks for holding papers and letters. There is also a pen tray and a glass inkwell and below there is a large drawer that pulls out. It comes with its original working bramah lock and key.
It is in good condition throughout and displays beautifully. There are some general signs of age and use, a few small knocks and marks and a minor water mark across the very top but nothing detrimental. The interior is clean and tidy. It has been cleaned and gently polished and is ready for use.
