A good example of a solid Sterling Silver pepper shaker. It is an unusual novelty design in the form of a small barrel with intricate repousse decoration. It is a stylish and good quality piece and weighs approximately 10g.
It is clearly hallmarked on the base for Birmingham, 1886 and the maker A.E.Robinson.
It is in good condition for its age. There are some faint surface marks and minor dinks but nothing detrimental and overall it displays well. It has been gently cleaned and polished and is ready for use.
