A good example of a late 19th Century leather medical case with fitted interior, complete with much of its original contents.
The case itself is made from leather with a tooled border around the top edge. Inside, the case is sectioned to hold the various bottles and there is a small lidded compartment. There are 8 original glass bottles, each with labels and ground glass stoppers. There are an additional two smaller bottles with wooden tops.
The whole set is in very good condition for its age. The glass bottles are all in good condition with no major damages. The leather case is clean and tidy inside and it has a lovely aged patina with no major damages but does not come with a key.
