Product Details

A superb quality collector's specimen cabinet dating from the late 19th Century, likely to have originally been used in a museum. The cabinet itself is made from pine and the exterior has a darker stained finish. It is a large and impressive piece and the door opens to reveal 12 drawers, each with a recessed brass handle and two brass name card plates.

It is in good original condition and displays very nicely. The exterior has been polished and the drawers are clean and tidy. There are signs of age and use and it has picked up a few knocks, scuffs and marks over the years but nothing untoward and it has a good aged patina. There are some minor old shrinkage splits in the sides and a couple of old chips on the drawers but nothing detrimental. The drawers all open and close smoothly and it comes with a working key for the door.
