An original WW2 era Pilot's compass from the U.S Army, made by the Bendix Aviation Corporation. It has a plaque on the edge which has all it's parts and serial numbers. The compass has been fixed to a small piece of wood as a base
The compass itself has a black painted finish. It has picked up some knocks, scratches and signs of wear over the years but it displays nicely.

Diameter of compass : 7" (18cm)
Height : 4 1/2" (11cm)
I have not tested the compass for accuracy and it is sold as seen as a decorative / collectors piece. The best description comes from the photos so please look at them all carefully and if you have any questions please ask.
