A good quality and very decorative oil painting entitled "Throw Physic to The Dogs", after the original by Edwin Douglas. It is signed and dated "W.C.U'Ren Dec 1883". The painting is on canvas and is framed in a gilt frame.
It measures approximately 18 1/2" (47cm) high x 15" (38cm) wide including the frame.
The painting is in good original condition. There are signs of age, some surface marks and discolouration and a small tear (photographed) but overall it displays well. The frame is original but there are some losses and small damages around the edges and it has been repainted at some point. The painting has been lightly cleaned and is ready to hang.
