A beautiful mahogany chest of drawers dating from the early 19th Century. Excellent quality and very well made with a lovely rich patina. It is an unusual tall and narrow shape set on bracket feet with four drawers, each with small brass knobs. The drawers are oak lined, they open well and are generally clean and tidy inside and come with their original working key.
It is in very good condition for its age. It has been sympathetically re-polished and has a wonderful colour and grain. There are the usual small signs of age and use, some minor marks and small knocks and some light surface stains on the top but nothing detrimental.
