A beautiful mahogany chest of drawers dating from the mid 19th Century. They are excellent quality and very well made with a lovely patina and solid drawer fronts. The drawers have their original turned wooden knobs and it stands on its original turned feet.
It is in very good condition for its age. The drawers open smoothly and are generally clean and tidy inside. There are the usual small signs of wear, some minor old marks and knocks and some shrinkage splits in the sides but nothing untoward or detrimental. The back is clean and sturdy and they have been gently cleaned and waxed and are ready for use.
