A beautiful mahogany chest of drawers dating from the mid 19th Century. Excellent quality and very well made with a lovely rich flame mahogany patina and an attractive bow-front. They are a nice small size standing on their original turned feet and each drawer has its original turned knobs.
It is in good condition for its age. The oak lined drawers open well and are generally clean and tidy inside. There are the usual small signs of wear, some minor marks, small chips and some old repairs here and there but nothing detrimental. There has been an old repair to one back foot but it is strong and sturdy and the chest still displays well. They have been cleaned and gently polished and are ready for use.
