A lovely mahogany chest of drawers dating from the early 19th Century. They are quality and well made with a lovely rich patina and flame mahogany drawer fronts. The drawers have their original turned wooden knobs and it is set on bracket feet.
It is in good condition for its age. The drawers open smoothly and are generally clean and tidy inside. We believe the top has been replaced at some point in its life but a long time ago and it still displays beautifully. There are the usual small signs of wear and age, some minor old marks and knocks and a few old repairs but nothing untoward or detrimental. They have been cleaned and lightly polished and are ready for use.
