A superb small oak chest of drawers dating from the early 19th Century. They are made of solid oak and have two small over two long drawers. They are good quality with a moulded edge and small bracket feet. Each drawer has small brass plate handles, which although are not original, suit the piece well.
They are in good condition for their age. They have developed a lovely warm patina and are strong and sturdy. There are signs of age and use and they have picked up some small knocks, marks and a few small chips but nothing detrimental or untoward. They have been cleaned and gently polished and are ready for use.
