A small mahogany chest of drawers dating from the early 19th Century. Excellent quality and very well made with a lovely rich patina. It has four long drawers, each with brass ring handles and it stands on bracket feet.
It is in good condition for its age. The drawers open well and are generally clean and tidy inside. There are a couple of shrinkage splits in the base of the drawers but they are strong and sturdy. There are the usual signs of age and wear, some minor old marks and knocks, some old repairs here and there but nothing untoward or detrimental. There are some minor signs of historic worm which has all been treated as a precaution. The chest has been cleaned and lightly polished and is ready for use.
