A lovely pine chest of drawers dating from late 19th / early 20th Century. The pine has mellowed to a nice warm colour and has a smooth waxed finish. Each drawer has a brass escutcheon and its original turned wooden knobs and it stands on bun feet. It is a nice small size whilst still offering plenty of storage.
It is in good condition for its age. Each drawer is generally clean and tidy and opens and closes smoothly. There are some signs of age and use with light surface marks, minor knocks and a few old repairs but nothing detrimental. There are some minor signs of historic worm which has all been treated as a precaution and hasn't affected the chest structurally or aesthetically. It has been cleaned and given a gentle polish and is ready for use.
