A fine example of a small solid silver salver dish with Chippendale style wavy rim set on 3 hoofed feet. It is stylish and good quality, weighing approximately 212g.
It is clearly hallmarked for Sheffield, 1924 and the maker Mappin and Webb.
It is in good condition for its age. There are some faint surface marks and light surface scratches and one particular scuff on the surface about 1" long (see photo) but no major damages and it displays well. It has been gently cleaned and polished and is ready for use.
