A lovely pine chest of drawers dating from the late 19th Century. Good quality, very well made with a smooth waxed finish and attractive light colour. They have turned wooden knobs and stand on turned feet. The drawers open smoothly having had the runners replaced and they are generally clean and tidy inside.
It is in good condition and displays well. There are the usual signs of age and use, a few small marks and knocks but nothing detrimental. There are signs of old woodworm around the base which has all been treated as a precaution and hasn't affected the piece structurally or aesthetically. They have been cleaned and gently polished and are ready for use.
