A lovely antique oak stationery cabinet dating from the late 19th / early 20th Century. It has a lovely patina with a sloped front and brass escutcheon. It comes with it original working key.
The doors open out to reveal a series of racks for holding papers and letters. There is also a pen tray, and a brass topped glass inkwell. Below this is a large drawer with a brass handle.
It is in good condition and is certainly a very usable piece. There are a few small knocks and marks around the outside and some general signs of age and use but nothing detrimental. It has been lightly cleaned and polished and displays beautifully.
