A good example of a carved giltwood standard lamp dating from the mid 20th century. It is a good quality piece with a lead weighted base and it is an unusually small size.
It has been PAT tested and rewired to modern standards with a braided flex and a standard bayonet bulb holder.
The lamp is in good condition with some minor signs of age and wear, some small chips and losses but nothing detrimental and no major damages. It is strong and sturdy and displays well.
