A lovely antique french mirror in a traditional arched Louis Philippe style. The frame has been painted with an attractive wood grained effect. It has its original mirror plate which is slightly foxed and worn in places but nothing detrimental.
It is in good original condition with a sturdy boarded back. There are some minor knocks and chips on the frame, particularly in one lower corner (see photo) but it is generally strong and stable and it displays well. There are some signs of old worm in the back which has all been treated as a precaution. It has been lightly cleaned and polished and is ready to hang.
