A lovely small oak gateleg dining table dating from the 18th Century. It is a traditional gateleg design with two leaves. The legs are turned with square stretchers and there is a small drawer at one end.
The planked top has an attractive aged patina and lovely rich colour. It is a good size and comfortably seats 4.
It is in good condition and is strong and sturdy. There are signs of age and use as to be expected, some surface marks, light knocks and wear around the bottom of the feet and some lovely old ironwork repairs but no major damages and overall it displays very well. There are some historic signs of worm around the base which has all been treated as a precaution and hasn't affected the piece structurally or aesthetically.
