A lovely example of a vintage sterling silver compact. It has engine turned decoration with a pretty scrolling floral border. It is mirrored inside and one side hinges to reveal the space where the pressed powder would have been kept.
It is clearly hallmarked for Walker & Hall, Chester, 1956.
It is in good condition for its age and displays well. There are minor signs of age and use, a few small marks and areas of tarnish but no major damages. It has been gently cleaned and polished and displays well.
