A good example of a large sterling silver vase with a flared rim and a weighted round base. It has an attractive lightly planished finish giving it a distinct arts and crafts style.
It is clearly hallmarked for Birmingham, 1925 and the maker Albert Edward Jones.
It is in good condition for its age. There are some faint surface marks and some minor dinks and particularly a dent on top of the foot (see photo) but no other major damages and overall it displays well. It has been gently cleaned and polished and is ready for use.
