A good example of a small ship's lamp dating from the early to mid 20th Century. It has a ribbed rounded glass front with a green colour, indicating it was a starboard lamp. It has a metal carrying handle and a bracket for hanging.
It has its original oil burner inside with a glass chimney.
It is in good original condition. It has a lovely aged patina and has only been lightly cleaned to preserve this patina. There is a small dent in the base and it is not without signs of age and use but the glass is undamaged and overall it displays well. I have not tested the oil burner but the wick turner works well and I see no reason why it shouldn't work.
