Good example of a vintage ship's lantern dating from the mid 20th Century. It has a brass plaque marked "ANCHOR". It is fitted with round clear glass and has a carrying handle as well as brackets for hanging. It has its original oil burner inside which is accessed through the base of the lamp.

It is in good original condition. The lamp has been lightly cleaned is ready for display. It has a nice aged patina and is not without some knocks and scratches and the copper has tarnished over time. The glass is original and is undamaged. I have not tested the oil burner and it is sold as seen although the wick turner moves well
