A superb set of 6 solid silver Scottish tablespoons. They are in the popular 'King's Pattern' with beautiful fan and shell decoration. They are well made from a good gauge silver, weighing approximately 231g in total.
Each spoon measures approximately 6 3/4" (17cm) long and the bowl is 1 1/2" (4cm) wide x 2 1/4" (6cm) long.
The spoons are each fully hallmarked for Edinburgh, 1820 and the maker Robert Naughten.
They are in good condition with mainly clear hallmarks. There are no major damages and they display well. There are signs of age and use, some faint surface marks and small dinks in a couple of the bowls but nothing detrimental. They have been lightly cleaned and polished and are ready for use.
