Product Details

A good quality set of sugar tongs and 10 matching silver Teaspoons contained in their original fitted case. The set is a striking Art Deco design and were made and retailed by none less than Harrods. The total weight of silver is approximately 141g and every piece is individually hallmarked for London, Richard Woodman Burbidge (Harrods), 1929.

Every piece is in very good condition. There are some minor signs of age and use, a few faint surface marks and a few light surface scratches but nothing detrimental. They have been lightly cleaned and polished and are ready for use. The set would have originally had 12 teaspoons but it is still an extensive set and is priced accordingly.
The box is excellent quality with a silk lining and fitted blue velvet base. The lining is marked with the "Harrod's London, S.W." logo. There are some minor frays in the fold of the silk lining and the outer of the case is not without some signs of age and knocks, scuffs and losses around the edges but overall it displays well.
Approximate Measurements :
Case : 10" (26cm) x 7" (18cm)
Length of Spoon : 4" (10cm)
