A good matching set of 6 early Victorian silver forks. They are in the popular 'Fiddle Pattern' with a simple unfussy design. They are well made from heavy gauge silver, weighing approximately 444g in total.

The forks measure approximately 8" (20cm) long.

They are each fully hallmarked for London, 1845 and the makers Joseph & Albert Savory.

They are in excellent condition with clear hallmarks. There are no major damages and they display beautifully. There are some faint surface marks and tarnish spots and a few minor signs of age and use but nothing detrimental and the prongs are in good order. They have been lightly cleaned and polished and are ready for use.
