A lovely set of 4 country ladderback dining chairs dating from the early to mid 20th Century. They are made of oak which has mellowed to a nice warm patina. They have woven seats which have recently been renewed and they stand on turned legs with pad feet joined by stretchers.
The chairs are a good size and are comfortable to sit in. The seats are approximately 18" (46cm) high, 16" (41cm) deep and 18" (46cm) wide. The chairs themselves are 36 1/2" (93cm) high.
They are in very good condition with no major damages. The chairs are firm and the joints are strong. There are a few knocks and light scuffs around the legs and some minor age-related marks here and there but nothing detrimental. They have all been cleaned and lightly polished and are ready for use.
