A good set of 4 wheelback farmhouse dining chairs with shaped elm seats and spindle backs. They stand on ring turned legs joined by H-stretchers.
The chairs stand approximately 35" (89cm) high. The seats are 17 1/4" (44cm) deep, 14 1/2" (37cm) wide and 17 13/4" (45cm) high.
They are in good condition with a nice colour and are strong and sturdy with no major damages. There are signs of age and use, some marks and light knocks on the seats and around the legs and minor old shrinkage splits but nothing detrimental. There are a few minor signs of historic woodworm which has all been treated as a precaution and hasn't affected the chairs structurally or aesthetically. They have been gently cleaned and polished and are ready for use.
