A fine matching set of 4 antique Sterling Silver salt dishes. They are stylish and good quality, shaped as shells set on three small ball feet with gilt linings to prevent wear or corrosion from the salt. They weigh approximately 60g in total.

The dishes are each fully hallmarked for Joseph Hawkins, Birmingham, 1896.
They are in excellent condition with clear hallmarks. There are no major damages and they display beautifully. There are some faint surface marks and a few light scratches and the gilt lining in one is more worn than the others but nothing untoward or detrimental. They have been lightly cleaned and polished and are ready for use or display.
